THANK YOU!

This will probably be one of many 'thank you' posts throughout our adoption process, but I just wanted to take a minute and say THANK YOU to every single person who bought a t-shirt and also to those who donated extra to make our t-shirt fundraiser a success.  I was reading through the list of names today of those who bought shirts and was overcome with gratitude at the way God stirs in people's hearts and the way He provides.  Some on the list have been by our side literally since we were born.  Some we've only known a short time.  Some we have never met.  Some were in our lives in high school but we haven't stayed in touch with.  It all blows me away.  Buying a t-shirt may seem like a small thing in light of how expensive an adoption is, but I can assure you it's not.  I had shared in an earlier post how God will multiply in ways you wouldn't imagine when you lay your yes on the table, and He did just that.

I'm also motivated to share and be as transparent as I can throughout our journey to encourage other families who are considering adoption but are stuck on the 'How can we possibly do this?' that if God is asking you to do something (adoption or otherwise), He will pave the way.  So with that I also want to share that not only did we surpass our goal of $1,000 by raising close to $2700, there were three families, two we have never met, that graciously donated to our adoption a total of $1400.  So through our t-shirt fundraiser, God provided $4100!!  CRAZY!

So Nate and I just want to say thank you SO much for those who supported our family through simply buying a shirt!  We hope to be able to share more specifics about our adoption soon and are extremely anxious to share pictures with you as soon as we get the okay from our agency.  In the mean time, you can continue to pray for the process and preparing our family for the boys and the boys' hearts to be prepared to leave their country and join our family.
Thanks!!
